Team RamRod is a group of gamers, mostly 25-40 year olds who get together in Teamspeak and online to play first-person shooters and talk smack about each other. The core of the team is located in southern california, but myself and 20 others live in the same timezone or at least close. A few members live farther, like Japan or Hawaii, but for the most part we are a West coast gaming team. We get together for mostly recreational gaming in the evenings, but we have been known on occasion to run a ladder competetively or a train on moose's mom on the side. Mostly we run trains.
We play a lot of games together
When I joined up the group was mostly into EA and DICE's offerings: Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and all that crap. We even run our own servers of whatever games are the most popularly played by our members. To support our habits, we each donate $6 per month to the team's coffers and in return we get reserved slots on our favorite servers so that we always have a place to play.

Plus a million other single player games, but they don't count because our team is about community and playing a game with a friend so you can beat him down and rag on him about the great showing his mother made that night.
Some of us still play Battlefield 2142, though it is fairly old at this point.
